2-Day Training Classes
A two-day training
class, this ServSafe® program
trains your employees about food safety so that your business can meet your state certification
and/or operations requirements.
This class is intended to maximize your employee’s
time and attention by bringing them into a classroom setting
with other food industry members. Under the instruction of
a food safety expert, the class learns about food safety
and guidelines through a combination of the ServSafe® textbook exercises,
instructor war stories and insight and other students experiences.
This training class is a 16 hour classroom commitment.
Combined, the 16 hour training and exam qualifies your employee
for certification with the National Restaurant Association
Education Foundation and puts your business in compliance.*
Course books available in English, Spanish, and Chinese. Exams available
in English, Spanish, and Chinese. Classroom instruction is
in English and private classes can be held in Spanish.
Certification is based on a passing grade of 75% or above.

After the completion of a ServSafe® class, attendees
will be better trained and aware of potentially hazardous
situations. Those who pass the exam will receive a certification
from the National Restaurant Association Education Foundation. Managers
are advised to be re-certified for ServSafe® every five
years due to changes in food safety standards in the FDA's
Model Food Code.
