ServSafe® Training
Each year, millions
of people contract foodborne illnesses. According
to the CDC, an estimated 76 million people will get a foodborne
illness this year, and 5 thousand of those people will die. Effective
assessments of food preparation safety practices can prevent
most of these dangerous illnesses from occurring.
ServSafe® classes will give your team an advantage
by training you to eliminate risk factors and by providing
you with the necessary knowledge to gain a quality reputation
for your establishment. All classes are offered in English. Private Spanish classes are also available.
The National Restaurant Association Education Foundation has compiled FDA food
standards into a ServSafe® training class for the benefit
of owners, managers, food handlers and servers. These
standards are for all safety aspects of the food service
industry, such as receiving, storage, preparation, cooking, holding, cooling, reheating, and serving.
This is a mandatory measure to protect you, your business
and your customers from dangerous foodborne illnesses.
