TIPS® is a dynamic skill-based training program designed to prevent intoxication, drunk driving and underage drinking.  The program enhances the fundamental “people skills” of servers, sellers and consumers of alcohol.  This program is designed for trainers and trainers-in-training.  It offers the content and tools to help trainers enhance their skills and more effectively convey vital information within the TIPS® training curriculum, which gives individuals the knowledge and confidence they need to recognize potential alcohol-related problems and effectively intervene to prevent alcohol-related tragedies.

Paster Training, Inc. provides training activities, peer-to-peer learning and materials that will help the trainer more effectively administer TIPS® training programs.  Successful completion of this course will merit a TIPS® trainer certification valid for one year.  In addition, the successful trainer will be eligible to teach the following TIPS® programs:

  • TIPS® On-Premise
  • TIPS® Off-Premise
  • TIPS® Gaming
  • TIPS® Concessions
  • TIPS® University
  • TIPS® Seniors
