Food Safety Inspections

Through food safety inspections, Paster Training, Inc. can help you determine whether the conditions and work practices related to safe food handling and facility operations meet regulatory standards of compliance within your organization.  Our team uses the recommended standards of the current FDA Model Food Code for conducting risk-based inspections.  The parameters of the inspection can be tailored to your organization in order to meet your specific management interests and objectives.  Food safety related risk-based conditions and practices evaluated by an inspection for regulatory compliance include:

Assessments

Assessments evaluate your facility’s current regulatory status as well as review existing management policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).  During an assessment, Paster Training, Inc. will work with your organization to identify essential areas for development of food safety management and/or food defense programs. Paster Training, Inc. conducts third-party assessments, serving clients in the areas of foodborne illness prevention, risk management, and food safety.  These evaluations focus on inspection of storage, food production, processing units, assessment of equipment/utensil condition, garbage disposal, pest control, water/sewage system, and structural components (floors, lighting, ventilation).  Paster Training, Inc. collaborates with clients, evaluating current food safety systems, practices, and SOPs in order to ensure continual compliance with regulations; as well as, management’s goals and objectives.

We employ hospitality consultants, trained and experienced environmental health specialists, and former members of local, county, state and federal agencies.  All audits are reviewed with facility management, and the Paster Training, Inc. auditing team provides a comprehensive corrective action plan on-site.  Assessment criteria include:
