SURE Food Handler Online Program


This course provides a basic overview of the principles of food safety as it relates to employees and food handlers using the SURE Food Safety Employee Manual

  • The outline of Food Safety Employee Program:
    • Chapter 1 – Food Safety Basics
    • Chapter 2 – Preventing the Use of Contaminated Equipment and Utensils
    • Chapter 3 – Practicing Proper Personal Hygiene
    • Chapter 4 – Phase 1 Flow of Food (Purchase, Receive, Store, Prepare)
    • Chapter 5 – Phase 2 Flow of Food (Cook, Hold, Cool, Reheat, Serve)

At the conclusion of the course, participants will take the Prometric Food Handler examination to measure their knowledge of food safety.
