Seafood HACCP Segment Two

The course is for Segment 2 of the Seafood HACCP certification and constructed to meet the HACCP training requirements established under Title 21 CFR Part 123.10 of the U.S. FDA mandatory seafood inspection program.

The Association of Food and Drug Officials (AFDO) upholds the Seafood HACCP Alliance protocol and issues certificates for all participants who complete this course.

At the conclusion of the course, participants will be prepared to apply Seafood HACCP principles to their operation. Successful completion of the course will merit a Seafood HACCP “Certificate of Course Completion” from AFDO.


Proactively manage risks and regulatory requirements by providing third party documented proof of understanding the Seafood HACCP system.

In cooperation with the Seafood HACCP Alliance, Segment 1 must be completed online through Cornell University prior to attending Segment 2.
